In December 2021 Madeleine returned to the Cité internationale des Arts under their artist residency program to continue work on her new book. She will be in residence there until June 2022. She can be contacted through this website.

On October 18, 2019 Madeleine presented the annual Australia-China lecture at the OzAsia Festival in Adelaide. Madeleine explored the history of Chinese contemporary art in conversation with film maker Henry Thong. For more info click here.
